Abstract
⺠Alzheimer's disease is characterized by deficits in social communication and memory. ⺠Mutants failed to habituate and were hyperactive relative to non-transgenic. ⺠APP/PS1 mice were deficient in sociability and social memory. ⺠The 3-chamber test is useful in evaluating social anomalies in mouse models of AD. ⺠This new social paradigm, can be used to test the efficacy of experimental therapies.
