Abstract
⺠A fear-cue that predicts danger inhibits feeding in food-deprived rats. ⺠Sex differences in adult rats trained with foot-shocks signaled by a tone. ⺠Female rats show prolonged feeding cessation under a fear-cue compared to males. ⺠Female susceptibility might be relevant for low intake maintenance in anorexia.
