Abstract
⺠Testosterone has anxiolytic-like effects on behavior. ⺠Successive negative contrast induces anxiety after incentive downshift. ⺠Pretraining testosterone facilitates recovery from incentive downshift. ⺠Pretraining testosterone does not affect anticipatory contrast, not thought to involve anxiety, but based on the same incentives.
