Abstract
⺠Prenatal LPS impaired behavior and neurochemical properties of the olfactory system. ⺠Male rats were impaired in maternal preference and in aversion to cat olfactory cues. ⺠Dopamine levels were decreased in the olfactory bulb (OB). ⺠There were no dopaminergic system and glial cell protein expression changes in the OB. ⺠Changes in maternal care were not responsible for the impairments in their offspring.
