Abstract
► Area postrema lesions block acquisition of LiCl-induced conditioned taste aversion. ► LiCl induces c-Fos in several brain regions related to taste aversion learning. ► After area postrema lesion, LiCl-induced c-Fos is reduced in some but not all sites. ► LiCl-induced c-Fos was significantly correlated with taste aversion learning.
