Abstract
⺠Corticotropin releasing factor reinstated cocaine seeking in male and female rats. ⺠Reinstatement responding varied greatly and revealed a "high responder" population. ⺠Female rats demonstrated greater variability in response to CRF than males. ⺠High responder females displayed significantly higher reinstatement than males. ⺠Individual and gender differences are important factors in cocaine addiction.
