Abstract
⺠RPE increases with increasing exercise intensity, and is lower with chronic resistance training. ⺠Leg pain is assessed using a 0-10 scale, and increases with exercise intensity. ⺠Data report reductions in RPE and leg pain in recovery from 4-6 bouts of interval training. ⺠Results are due to greater phosphocreatine, muscle glycogen, and oxidative capacity.
