Abstract
► High stereotypic deer mice, an animal model of OCD, have deficits in glutathione. ► Reduced levels of GSH and GSSG were negatively correlated with stereotypy. ► Increased glutathione redox index was positively correlated with stereotypy. ► Deficits in the glutathione system were noted in the frontal cortex but not striatum. ► Cortico-striatal SOD activity and striatal dopamine turnover were unaffected.
