Abstract
⺠High stereotypic deer mice, an animal model of OCD, have deficits in glutathione. ⺠Reduced levels of GSH and GSSG were negatively correlated with stereotypy. ⺠Increased glutathione redox index was positively correlated with stereotypy. ⺠Deficits in the glutathione system were noted in the frontal cortex but not striatum. ⺠Cortico-striatal SOD activity and striatal dopamine turnover were unaffected.
