Abstract
►Mice deficient for the classical transient receptor potential 6 (TRPC6). ►No up- or down-regulation of other TRPC channels in the brain. ►No changes in anxiety-like behavior compared to wild-type mice. ►Decreased exploration behavior in a square open field test compared to wild-type mice. ►Decreased exploration behavior in a newly established elevated star maze test.
