Abstract
⺠Phosphorylation levels of TH were examined in rat CB during short-term hypoxia. ⺠Six hours after hypoxia, phosphorylated TH at Ser31 was increased in glomus cells. ⺠Phosphorylated TH at Ser40 was also increased in glomus cells, similar to Ser31. ⺠Under short-term hypoxia, activated TH would increase catecholamine in glomus cells.
