Abstract
⺠28-d SNRI (venlafaxine; VHCL) administration modifies basal respiratory output in adult mouse. ⺠Respiratory burst frequency was reduced by VHCL treatment both in vitro and in vivo. ⺠TE was increased and TI/Ttot was significantly shortened by VHCL treatment. ⺠VHCL treatment produced post-inspiratory and spurious expiratory discharges in vitro.
