Abstract
⺠Mechanical and reflex mechanisms contribute to the bronchodilation of exercise. ⺠Cooling the vagi alters the reflex bronchodilation. ⺠Ventilatory and airway responses to exercise were found dissociated by vagal cooling. ⺠Bronchodilation at exercise is contributed to by a neural, non vagal mechanism.
