Abstract
												⺠Dietary nitrate supplementation increases dry apneic duration in well trained apnea divers. ⺠Dietary nitrate supplementation reduces resting pre-apneic blood pressure. ⺠Dietary nitrate supplementation reduces arterial O2 desaturation during sub maximal apnea. ⺠Dietary nitrate supplementation does not influence the heart rate reduction during apnea.
