Abstract
⺠Carotid atherosclerosis and cognitive function were measured in a cohort in WI. ⺠Larger IMT was associated with higher risk of incident cognitive impairment. ⺠Larger IMT was associated longer time to complete trail-making test-part B. ⺠Plaques were not associated incident cognitive impairment or other tests scores. ⺠Carotid IMT may be involved in cognitive decline with aging.
