Abstract
⺠We studied the influences of pravastatin on serum total and HMW adiponectin levels. ⺠Study subjects were female patients with type 2 diabetes and hypercholesterolemia. ⺠Pravastatin did not increase serum adiponectin levels in type 2 diabetes mellitus. ⺠Pravastatin did not improve insulin sensitivity in type 2 diabetes mellitus.
