Abstract
⺠We studied the effect of short term atorvastatin treatment in ischemic HF patients. ⺠40 mg/d of atorvastatin improved endothelial function and arterial stiffness. ⺠40 mg/d of atorvastatin improved indices of left ventricular remodeling and adhesion molecules. ⺠The effects of atorvastatin on indices of arterial function are dose dependent. ⺠Patients with increased TC levels are prone to benefitted more from atorvastatin
