Abstract
► RAGE deficiency inhibits post-injury vascular remodeling by activating AMPK pathway. ► Carotid ligation decreases p-AMPK and increases RAGE and ligands, which promotes SMCs proliferation and migration. ► RAGE/ligands mediates vascular remodeling by regulation of AMPK activity via LKB1 and STAT3.
