Abstract
⺠Subjects with NAFLD have significant subclinical atherosclerosis in Asian Indians. ⺠NAFLD is independently associated with high CIMT and endothelial dysfunction. ⺠This is independent of obesity, metabolic syndrome and insulin resistance. ⺠High levels of hs-CRP and sICAM-1 may be useful markers of liver injury.
