Abstract
⺠The association between adiposity and hypertension has been well documented. ⺠We sought to reveal what adipokine is related with arterial stiffening. ⺠Plasma adiponectin levels are associated with arterial stiffening in hypertensive patients. ⺠These findings may partly explain the high association between adiposity and hypertension.
