Abstract
- β-Carotene-loaded nanoliposomes were incorporated within nanofibers.
- Lipids interacted more strongly with PVOH than PEO, modifying electrospinning performance.
- β-Carotene molecules were not degraded during the electrospinning process.
- β-Carotene loaded nanoliposomes with nanofibers conferred additional UV photostability.
- Integrity of the nanoliposomes after release from nanofibers was confirmed.
