Abstract
- Self-assembled folate-phytosterol-alginate (FPA) nanoparticles (NPs) were synthesize. It was found that DOX release from FPA NPs was pH-sensitive and more rapid in an acidic environment.
- The DOX/FPA NPs showed enhanced cellular uptake, increased targeting capacity, and increased cytotoxicity against KB cells.
