Abstract
- Applicability of nanostructured latex coating for protein patterning was demonstrated.
- Surface properties of latex coated paper were modified by short-wave IR irradiation.
- Nanopatterned topography with hydrophilic and hydrophobic regions was formed.
- Directed protein immobilization and improved protein adsorption was achieved.
- Results are of interest in developing paper-based diagnostics and analytical tools.
