Abstract
⺠Hyaluronic acid and dextran thin film layers were grafted to PU and PVC tubing. ⺠Surfaces were characterized using AFM, XPS, ellipsometry and contact angle. ⺠Blood reaction to surfaces was assessed by platelet aggregometry and flow cytometry. ⺠Hyaluronic acid coating shows superior reduction of blood activation.
