Abstract
⺠We synthesized ZnO-NSs in the presence of pyridine as shape-directing agent. ⺠Shape-dependent antibacterial activity was observed against several pathogens. ⺠Concentration of defects indicates ROS damage as mechanism for antibacterial activity.
