Abstract
⺠Phosphatidylserine is obtained from a marine lecithin using phospholipase D for the transphosphatidylation reaction. ⺠Mixed micelles based on bile salts are carefully characterized. ⺠The best combination of parameters controlling PS synthesis is obtained from a fractional factorial experiment. ⺠Sodium cholate or sodium deoxycholate leads to similar PS synthesis yields.
