Abstract
⺠Polymeric scaffolds with well-controlled interconnected pores, play a pivotal role in tissue engineering. ⺠The understanding of the principles of scaffolding is far from satisfactory ⺠Dielectric relaxation spectroscopy is used to monitor hepatocyte growth in two different polymeric scaffolds ⺠Biocompatibility of gelatine and alginate scaffolds is discussed ⺠The performance of alginate scaffold in comparison with gelatine scaffold was investigated.
