Abstract
⺠Chlorhexidine interacts with Langmuir monolayers as bacteria cell membrane models. ⺠Surface pressure isotherms changes with chlorhexidine. ⺠Infrared spectroscopy shows that lipids and proteins are affected. ⺠Membrane is transferred to glass ionomers as LB films. ⺠Effect of chlorhexidine is evaluated.
