Abstract
► Sunlight was used to prepare AgNPs in an aqueous medium containing N-cholyl amino acids. ► N-Cholyl amino acid acts as both capping as well as reducing agent. ► Highly stable and mono-dispersed AgNPs were prepared. ► The prepared AgNPs shows good antimicrobial activity.
