Abstract
⺠Solid supported liposome layers (SSLLs) are used as model membranes. ⺠SSLLs seem to be less affected by the anaesthetics than liposomes in solution. ⺠Cholesterol increases the liposomes resistance to anaesthetics in different ways. ⺠QCM-D technique is adequate to asses the interaction of anaesthetics with SSLLs.
