Abstract
⺠Microtubes were assembled from bis(N-alpha-amido-Thr) 1,5 pentane dicarboxylate. ⺠The self-assembly of the microstructures was probed at varying pH. ⺠The formed microtubes were utilized for encapsulation of the drug ellagic acid. ⺠Formed microcomposites were non-cytotoxic to mammalian cells. ⺠Incorporation of Ellagic acid on microtubes enhanced bacteriostatic properties.
