Abstract
⺠Above 55 °C silicon supported thin DDAB film undergoes a bilayer thinning process. ⺠From 55 °C DDAB-water vesicles show a corresponding decrease in size distribution. ⺠DDAB film cooled to 25 °C shows a water dependent gel-crystalline meta-stable phase. ⺠DDAB vesicles show reversible feature without metastable size distribution evidence. ⺠DDAB within DOPC lecithin vesicles allows for modulating their size by temperature.
