Abstract
► Cu2O-Au nanocomposites have been synthesized introducing Cu2O nanocubes into diluted HAuCl4 solution directly. ► The driving force for the reduction process is from the redox difference between Cu2+/Cu2O and AuCl4−/Au. ► As-prepared Cu2O-Au nanocomposite has shown enhanced performances in the sensing glucose.
