Abstract
⺠Intracranial brain computer interfaces can be connected to the cortex permanently and, in such neural implants, non-task elicited brain activity generates false alarms. ⺠We compute the error probability for extensive recordings of non-task elicited ECoG. ⺠We investigate the dynamics of false alarms and introduce strategies to reduce them.
