Abstract
⺠Epileptic discharges (EDs) in superficial layers were induced with penicillin G. ⺠Focal brain cooling preferentially terminated the faster frequency components of EDs. ⺠Frequency analysis demonstrated that cooling below 25 °C may be an effective treatment for epilepsy.
