Abstract
⺠Both chitosan and PCL have been approved by Food and Drug Administration (FDA) as biodegradable biomaterials. ⺠A new blended material from chitosan and PCL to maintain viability and stimulate ECM production of CECs concurrently. ⺠Transparency can be maintained and measured cellular proliferative ability outcomes suggest good propagation capacity. ⺠BCECs can preserve phenotypes and produce ECM proteins on chitosan/PCL blends.
