Abstract
Our study demonstrated that children with persistent seizures present more significant alterations of brain connectivity in areas crucial for global cognitive maturation, executive functions, and verbal abilities, implying a higher risk of cognitive impairment, attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder, and autism.
