Abstract
- Simulating randomly distributed, dissimilarly charged entities on a charged surface by a dissimilarly charged protrusion array (DCPA) model.
- Configuration of electrical double layer (EDL) on DCPA is solved semi-analytically using both double Fourier series and perturbation method.
- The local EDL shows a considerably steep distribution in comparison with that in condition of roughly flat charged surface with a lumped, mean surface charge density.
