Abstract
⺠A facile method to prepare polysaccharide-based nanospheres for drug delivery was developed. ⺠This method could offer good control over the particle size and does not involve any organic solvent. ⺠The chemically bonded nanospheres have good stability and do not disassemble when diluted. ⺠The nanospheres could entrap both hydrophobic and hydrophilic drugs.
