Abstract
⺠Patients with epilepsy generally use engagement-type coping strategies. ⺠Older patients and African-Americans favor engagement-type coping strategies. ⺠Those with low BMQ-S scores favor the use of disengagement-type strategies. ⺠Lower-income patients and those not driving also use disengagement-type strategies.
