Abstract
⺠Seizure-induced neuronal loss in young brains approximates very old age. ⺠Frontal cortices and hippocampal formations are most affected. ⺠Late-treated seizures result in neuronal density of very old brains. ⺠Post-seizure ketamine ameliorates the neuronal deficits.
