Abstract
► Chronic fish oil supplementation to rats increased amygdaloid seizure threshold. ► This effect was mediated by docosahexaenoic (DHA) but not eicosapentaenoic acid. ► Fish oil containing DHA may be effective against human complex-partial seizures.
