Abstract
⺠Oral gabapentin pretreatment suppressed PTZ-induced seizures in adult zebrafish. ⺠The anticonvulsant effects were significant and dose-dependent. ⺠Novel oral delivery method in adult zebrafish ascertaining accurate dose in mg/kg ⺠1st report to study both behavior and cephalic field potential in one study ⺠This provides a novel framework for evaluating modulators of epilepsy in zebrafish.
