Abstract
⺠Mean anxiety and depression scores were higher than those of the standardization sample. ⺠On MMPI-2 scales that resembled the IDD and TLE Personality Syndrome: ⺠Application of MMPI-2 to the investigation of psychopathology in TLE suggests lack of specificity. ⺠Groups of patients with TLE were not clinically elevated compared with matched controls. ⺠Patterns of the IDD and TLE Personality Syndrome could not be supported.
