Abstract
⺠We inquired the sexual behavior of married males with MTLE-HS. ⺠Compared to control subjects, sexual desire and satisfaction of patients were poor. ⺠Sexual functions improved after surgery, but failed to attain control levels. ⺠Seizure-free and AED-free patients achieved a better sexual outcome. ⺠Sexual inadequacies of MTLE-HS patients often remain undetected.
