Abstract
⺠Bilateral cathodal tDCS has antiepileptic effects in absence epileptic rats. ⺠The number of spike-wave discharges reduced significantly during stimulation. ⺠Cathodal tDCS had long-lasting intensity-dependent effect on mean duration of SWDs. ⺠The effects of tDCS on mean duration only appeared after stopping the stimulation. ⺠The behavioral activity of the animals changes by higher intensity tDCS.
