Abstract
⺠Newer AED are increasing used for SE treatment. ⺠Their impact on prognosis was assessed, adjusting for robust outcome predictors. ⺠Newer AED do not seem to improve SE prognosis. ⺠A prospective trial study to test newer vs. classical AEDF in SE is warranted.
