Abstract
► Big study in 425 sleep recordings to measure effect of daytime seizures on sleep architecture. ► Longer TIB and REM-latency were found after a (secondarily) generalized seizure during day before. ► After a (secondarily) generalized seizure more NREM II, less NREM III and REM-sleep was seen. ► The 23 individuals who were their own control showed a lower SE after a seizure during the day before.
