Abstract
⺠This is the first survey of expert opinions on epilepsy treatment in a developing country. ⺠An overall picture of clinical practices in the treatment of adult epilepsy in China in 2010 is provided. ⺠Most ratings for preferred treatment in China were in accordance with a published US study. ⺠Survey results indicate the need for development of novel antiepileptic drugs with better efficacy and improved tolerability.
