► Depressive symptoms and anxiety are two most frequent PSDs of people with epilepsy. ► Cognitive problems are often reported as a PSD of people with epilepsy as well. ► Stigma is frequently reported as a PSD of people with epilepsy. ► Low quality of life emerges also as a PSD for people with epilepsy. ► Pharmacological treatments contribute to reduce many of the identified PSDs.
