Abstract
⺠The study was designed to assess stigma perception among the Guarani population ⺠One hundred thirty-two people completed the Stigma Scale of Epilepsy questionnaire. ⺠A moderate perception of stigma was reported among these communities. ⺠The main determinants of stigma were some psychosocial factors and level of education. ⺠PWE face moderate difficulties in everyday life because of epilepsyârelated stigma.
