Abstract
► The study was designed to assess stigma perception among the Guarani population ► One hundred thirty-two people completed the Stigma Scale of Epilepsy questionnaire. ► A moderate perception of stigma was reported among these communities. ► The main determinants of stigma were some psychosocial factors and level of education. ► PWE face moderate difficulties in everyday life because of epilepsy‐related stigma.
